provide early intervention mental health counselling for adults, that looks for solutions rather than focusing on problems, and I work with a wide range of people who are dealing with everyday issues and struggles that interfere with their well-being. This means that I am committed to understanding your experience from YOUR perspective. When we work together, clients can rediscover the values that are important to them and their self-worth so that they can make changes in the way that they want to make them.

I have a special interest in working with individuals who feel so overwhelmed by the pressures they are experiencing at work and at home, that they have very little time for anything other than their duties and responsibilities. Mental and physical exhaustion is such a big factor in their daily existence that they often cant be bothered, or simply have no time to schedule in the activities that once brought them joy and excitement.

Clients experiencing this report that their relationships are suffering as a result of their tiredness and irritability. They feel that their close family members just dont get it and they feel alone. They often have trouble sleeping, and experience muscle aches, pains and tension, tightness in the chest, clenched jaw, trembling and nervousness, susceptibility to colds and a disinterest in sexual intimacy.

These clients are sometimes barely holding it together, but at the same time, they want to be good partners/spouses/parents, and feel passion for the things they choose to do in their personal and professional lives. They want to grow old knowing that they gave their dreams a decent shot. They just need help to figure out where they should begin to change.

I help clients by providing a safe, non judgemental space where they can share their concerns. If they would like, I will share some tools and strategies that can help them to live their lives their way and give them the opportunity to live their life their way.
