Friendly Scout Group tucked away in a quiet spot in the Caversham / Beechboro Area.

We run during the school terms with Joey scouts ( 6-8yo) on tuesdays 5.30- 6.30pm, Cub scouts ( 8- 11 yo) Wednesdays 6.30 -8 pm, Scout aged ( 11 - 15yo) Thurs 7 -9pm

Scouting is performed worldwide and is the largest youth development organisation in Australia. Scouts engages and inspires young people to develop confidence, resilience and leadership all while being in a safe and fun environment. Youth will make lots of friends while doing heaps of new things, and some will even be fortunate enough to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity through attending world wide Jamborees!

Scouting isn't only for youth, volunteering is also very rewarding. You not only get to meet a wide range of people in your community, you get to help youth grow and develop all while enjoying many activities you didn't think you would ever get to do again, or even think of trying. Being a volunteer in a community group, gives you a sense of pride and fulfilment that you didn't even know you needed.

You don't need to be a parent or a super adventurous person to become a leader. We all have our strengths and we work with them to the benefit of the youth. If you haven't been a witness to a youth that has conquered a challenge and been there to see the smile on their face - you really are missing something magical!
