I am a midwife offering practical and holistic childbirth and early parenting preparation.

Whether you are birthing at home or in hospital, my mission is to equip you and your birth partner with the knowledge and tools to feel empowered on your journey to parenthood.

The Active Birth Workshop will cover:
Preparing for birth: releasing fears, connecting with your baby, your birth plan
Hormones of labour: how to optimise the physiological process of labour
Active birth tools: visualisation, breath, massage, acupressure support person's role
The golden hour: the first moments after birth, birthing your placenta, skin to skin
Transition to parenthood: introduction to breastfeeding, newborn cues, physiological changes after birth, support and nourishing the mother
