Karate For Kids offers a safe, happy and encouraging environment where children have fun, get fit and be active. Classes are separated by age so all students train at their own level, meaning Karate For Kids is just for kids... No adults, ever!

Karate for Kids classes are dynamic and fun, incorporating games, fitness activities, self defence skills and basic techniques. We accept kids as young as 3 with shorter lessons focusing on listening and social skills and respect.

Our students learn self defence and anti-bullying skills, discipline, respect and other life skills, and develop personal discipline and confidence while having fun and making new friends with inclusive games and drills.

Sensei Mike is a fully qualified Black Belt instructor who trained at Karate for Kids himself between the ages of 6 and 15 under the teachings of Sensei Caroline, first achieving his Junior Black Belt with IOGKF. He has many years experience teaching kids’ martial arts for ages 3 to 18 and is currently undertaking a Master of Teacher (Primary).

All Karate For Kids instructors are WWCC checked and approved.
