Gourmet Bubbas was founded by Georgia Wicks. A mum of two little girls, Georgia’s first child ate anything and everything. However, when number two arrived, Georgia and her husband had multiple difficulties feeding her as she had a sensitive gut and various intolerances. Georgia found she was struggling with preparing meals for her toddler and her new baby and trying to juggle work as well. She was time poor – an issue so many mums and dads face these days. Georgia wished for more time or a better product for her precious children. She realised that she couldn’t create more time but she could definitely create an option for other parents out there that faced similar problems.
Gourmet Bubbas' products contain organic produce which is prepared and cooked at it's freshest, then frozen to seal in the goodness and flavour. There are no additives or preservatives and no added salt or sugar. Orders are taken online and the product is delivered by refrigerated courier, right to the door steps of busy mums and dads. All Gourmet Bubbas purees and meals are prepared and cooked in a fully equipped commercial kitchen which is five-star-rated by the NSW Food Authority; inspected by Sydney City Council; and DA Approved. Georgia, who is a qualified Food Safety Supervisor, cooks the food herself.
Gourmet Bubbas has 3 age ranges:
- 'First Taste Adventure' which is for 4 - 6 month olds (basic purees containing just single serves of fruit or veg, pureed to smoothest consistency)
- 'Savour the Flavour' which is for 6 - 9 month olds (more complex purees containing combinations of fruits and veggies as well as one veggie lentil dish and one white fish dish, pureed but with a slight bit more texture than the first range).
- 'Little Chompers' which is for 9 - 12 month olds (mini meals which contain a variety of proteins, carbs and vegetables, with some bigger chunks)
