Every new sport lighting project begins with an assessment of the current solution. From experience, we know that it is best to get some idea of the current lux levels and to determine in which ways they can be improved in terms of performance and efficiency.

Legacy Lighting can help set up new sport lighting on the existing poles and electrical supplies, in which case we carefully inspect the original engineering drawings to ensure they can sustain the weight and sail area of the new lights. Most new LED lights are heavier than metal halides, and adding extra weight to the poles without checking original design capability can cause pole failure.

Alternatively, we can provide a whole new set of poles and lights so that we can guarantee the newly-established sport lighting solution will serve you properly.

Legacy Lighting recommends an on-site inspection prior to quoting for a new installation. This assessment can be done simply using a lux meter and completing our free lighting audit form.

Positions for taking the measurements are marked on the form along with other information regarding the pole position and field size.
