Hi my name is Shanlyn Giam, I have been an instructor learning and teaching the Pilates Method for 14 years, gained from overseas training with master teachers. I am fully certified to teach on all the pilates apparatus, my favourite being the reformer. I am offering Private reformer sessions, including jumpboard for those that like more of a cardio HIIT workout and Vibrodisc. Vibration training accelerates your training up to 5.8X, with an increase in lymphatic flow, reduction of cellulite and body fat, increase in metabolism, the Vibrodisc is a great exercise for those that want fast results.
I am also fully certified in Pre and Post Natal Pilates.
Pilates helps to give you better awareness of your posture, which tends to change as your baby grows which further helps to decrease pain in your back.
Babies and kids are welcome tears and all. I am a mother of 3 young kids, so i understand how difficult it is to fit in time to exercise. My studio is located in my house so there is a playroom/ tv and dvds to entertain toddlers or older children, or I am happy to hold your baby.
