My name is Lusy and I am the owner and photographer at Studio Colibri based in Sydney.

The name of Colibri (hummingbird) came to me one day when I thought of my daughter and saw one of the birthday cards she received.

Colibri (Hummingbird) is a small energetic bird, which brings positive emotions to everyone who looks at it, just as we look at babies or newlyweds. These little birds symbolize peace, love and happiness. It is said that in Native American culture, a hummingbird symbolizes timeless joy and the Nectar of Life. Colibri shows us how to find the miracle of joyful living from your own life circumstances.

Kids are my best inspiration, always honest, always natural in their emotions. I try to recreate a little fairy tale in my photos. They look more like paintings and I bring this style to all of my photoshoots. After all, Photography is Art. I love every single photoshoot that I do, be it a wedding or maternity, or a family one. In every single one of them there are so many special moments that belong only to my heroes and their personalities.

I create memories, something that people will look at through generation and smile. Something that will last forever.

After becoming award winning photographer in 2015 and 2016, I started to travel to other states and countries including Queensland and Victoria in Australia, Sweden, Denmark and Russia.

I consider myself very lucky to be able to do what i do, to meet new amazing families, to travel and to paint with light.
